Castiel Teddy Bear by Dr4wingF4ith Castiel Teddy Bear by Dr4wingF4ith
I made a Castiel teddy bear from the tv series supernatural and i think it turned out pretty well :)
I did take better pictures of it but i think i acidentally deleted them :( Sorry you will have to deal with this one :(
Anyway if you would like to know how to make it then feel free to ask and i will make a tutorial or something :)
I made this for my friend for her birthday because she is a huge supernatural fan :)
It originally was going to have black wings as well but i thought that it would just break or deteriorate quickly so i didnt do it.
I also chose to make a fluffy teddy bear as castiel because it is easier and nicer to cuddle up to than one of those hard plushies at cons and stuff.
Hope you like it :)
It actually turned out really well, i am glad :)

Yeah, as for the tutorial i have had another person request this as well. I can try and recreate the pattern but my grandmother and i never really used a specific pattern.
I can still try to make it if you still want me to but what we did (for the clothes) was we just got the bear and outlined its limbs and roughly made the clothes. But as for the bear's pattern it is pretty much this:

or this site might have some good stuff for you :)

You will need a sewing machine and essential stuff (matierial and stuff).
With clothes patterns just get the basic shape of a jacket or pants or something. You dont need much maths or detail because it is a bear and bears dont dance around to show off their clothes so it will pretty much just sit there.

Give it a go (always try testers before you use the actual material you want to use) and tell me if you still want a tutorial or patterns or something, but I recreated the pants and stuff and a tutorial really isnt necessary. I think you will be able to make it without.

But tell me how you go :D

well, i don't need the clothes for the teddy since i think teddy bear is better without any clothes :D
too bad my sewing machine is broken lols, haven't repaired yet lols.

i think i'll start with small teddy bear plush first (the easiest one) before i try to create something like you did :D just to be honest, i hate home ec class so i always ask someone to sew something for me ^^; but i'll try by myself now yaaay

Thats good, just do your best and if its a birthday present then i am sure the person will love it because you made it :D
Haha yeah my friend does home ec class and she hates it :P
I guess you could sew the bear without the sewing machine but that would take longer and would be more boring. YOu can sew the bear with a simple blanket stitch and if you dont know how to do that then youtube is bound to have a tutorial on it :)
Here is one tutorial but there might be a better one somewhere.

Good luck ;)

Yeah, you are probably right. It might not be boring if your heart is in the right place :)
Yeah, blacket stitch and hidden stitch and blind stitch are pretty much all the same :D
